A sweet and spicy chicken dish coated in rich tomato sambal gravy, made effortlessly with Willow’s Choice Pes Masak Merah for a classic Malaysian feast.

Ingredients

Willow's Choice
Pes Masak Merah (90g)

180g
Fried Chicken

75ml
Distilled Water

Coriander Leaves

How to Cook?

  1. Pour the Willow’s Choice Masak Merah Paste into the saucepan and heat.
  2. Add 75 ml of water to the cooking paste and stir well.
  3. Add 180g of Fried Chicken to the cooking paste.
  4. Gently simmer for 8-10 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Optional: Adjust seasoning accordingly to suit individual preference.
  6. Transfer chicken to a plate & best enjoyed with steamed white rice.
  7. Pour extra sauce over the chicken for more flavour.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds, cucumber & coriander leaves.
